Its been a while since the day that Nike strapped up Pete Sampras with the Air Oscillate for the first time. The damage done by Sampras in those shoes was so historical that at the beginning of this year, 20 years later, Nike dropped a patriotic rendition of the kick. (Seen below)
6 months have yet to pass since the release, and Nike have decided that a another dedication needs to be made. This time paying homage to the man himself – Roger Federer. Giving the 1997 Tinker Hatfield-designed Air Oscillate a complete overhaul, and turning out what is to be named the – Oscillate Evolve RF. NikeLab has really brought another outstanding kick to the table, losing the thick sole unit of old and presenting that of a more “streamlined” design.
