The Ryder Cup finished last night, with The US romping their way to a comprehensive victory of 17-11. It was the first time USA has won it since 2008 and they were over the moon about it. The tournament was filled with highlights, but the crowd and their chirps was providing the same, if not more, entertainment value.
The highlight of this was on the Thursday practice day when a fan screamed at Rory Mcilroy; “even I could sink that putt”, to which Henrik Stenson replied by calling him out of the crowd to put his money where his mouth is, literally. Justin Rose then lay a $100 bill next to the ball (piggish). Watch the video to see what happened next.
Look the fact of the matter is if David Johnson’s putt had missed the hole it would probably fly off the green it was cruising so fast, but we love the attitude, because the last thing you want to do is leave that putt short, in front of pretty much the whole world.
Without a doubt the peak of this guy’s life.
