Top Ten Music Videos of 2017

By Billy The Kid / Beats / 20th February 2017

2017 has already been a power year for music. We’ve been treated across the board, from releases from the legends to a couple new kids on the block making some serious noise.

The squad was obviously deep in that grind in December because the amount of music video fire has been like a Western Cape summer.

We’ve put together our top ten of the year so far for your viewing pleasure:

Stormzy – Big For Your Boots

Your boy Stormzy keeps it OG on this one. Spitting fire from the corner Fish & Chips spot and cruising London atop a police car.

Young Thug – Wyclef Jean

Without a doubt of one the most original videos we’ve seen. Thugger not to pitching up to his own shoot turned out to be a massive opportunity. What the director did with it was nothing short of genius.

Migos – T-Shirt

Migos channel the revenant on this video in the snowy mountains. Pulled off in classic Migos style.

Kemba – Already

Kemba has been touted by Kendrick Lamar as the next big thing. This video serves as his first warning shot to you.

AKA – The World is Yours

Supa Mega and Bonang might be on the rocks now, but this video proves that she can never say he didn’t take her nice places.

Khuli Chana – All Hail

Something completely different from Khuli Chana and Cassper, wild, crazy and incredibly artistic. As gangster as it gets, anywhere on the globe.

Big Baby D.R.A.M. – Cute

The mastermind behind Cash Machine is back with what could be his most unserious video yet.

Maroon 5 ft. Future – Cold

Adam Levine gets tricked into taking acid at Future’s house party. And it’s as good as that sounds.

Young M.A – Get This Money

Young M.A goes Monopoly thug in the video for her follow up single to the iconic “Ooouuu”

Rae Sremmurd – Swang

The kids decide to light it up on a Golf Course like only they could.
